Hello! I'm Anna - the founder of the ZIRAEL Vegan Restaurant.
I started my journey to veganism in 2006 by giving up meat and stopping horse riding.
By studying many scientific and medical sources, I came to understand that a balanced plant-based eating style is absolutely normal and complete for any person. In addition, it has a lot of advantages in terms of maintaining health and longevity.
When I arrived in Japan, I noticed to my surprise that veganism here is at an early stage. This is how the idea of supporting and promoting vegan and eco trends arose.
Previously, I have already created an online ”Zirael Store” with vegan cosmetics.
And now I am glad to present you a Vegan Restaurant.

Zirael Vegan Restaurant. From Gion, Kyoto!
Our restaurant, a nice hideaway, boasts carefully selected vegetables delivered from producers all over the country, mainly Kyoto vegetables. We use only 100% plant-based ingredients.
In our menu we have collected the most popular dishes from different countries: Japan, Ukraine, Turkey, Mexico, India, Russia and others. Thanks to this, you can appreciate the different palette of tastes and aromas of the world.
Also gluten-free positions are availible.
The lunch menu changes every day and is fully balanced in calories, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, enriched with vitamins and minerals from fruits, dark greens, seeds, nuts.
We don't just cook for you as for ourselves. We cook for ourselves and invite you to taste the home dishes.
